Endearist

Organize your contacts

Address book, sync or personal CRM?

Keeping an address book in sync across devices and remembering the context of a relationship are different jobs. Compare the options, see where Apple and Google Contacts fit, and start with a workflow you can use today.

Not launched yet Endearist is in development — there is nothing to download yet. This page describes how the app is meant to work. The first release is intended for Android and Windows; end-to-end encrypted sync over your own storage is planned for v1. See the roadmap →

Three jobs, three kinds of tools

Address book

Stores names, numbers and contact details. If a team needs to maintain one shared list, decide access rights, ownership and privacy rules first.

Apple Contacts and Google Contacts are personal address books, not a jointly managed customer database.

Contact sync

Keeps the same address book current across devices. Check the account or address-book provider's sync, including how it handles conflicts and deletions.

A one-time CSV or vCard export is an import, not ongoing sync. End-to-end encrypted sync over storage you run yourself — a local or shared folder, or a WebDAV server — is planned for v1. Google Drive as a destination is not decided yet. Managed sync on Endearist Cloud is planned for after v1, as part of the Pro Cloud subscription only.

Personal CRM

Adds relationship context: how you met, what you discussed and when to follow up. A private spreadsheet or note can be enough to begin.

Endearist is intended to add that layer later. The app has not launched; see the roadmap for its planned scope.

Start with the address book you already have

  1. Choose a source of record: Keep phone numbers in one leading address book. The Apple Contacts vCard and Google Contacts CSV or vCard guides explain each export path.
  2. Pick a small set of people: Start with those you want to keep in touch with. In your own spreadsheet or note, record how you know them, your last conversation and a useful next step.
  3. Decide on sync separately: If you need contacts on iPhone, Android or Windows, set up your address-book provider's sync first. A future Endearist import would add relationship context, not replace that sync.

Shared sales processes, permissions and a central customer history call for a team CRM. The private relationship workflow here does not solve that organizational job.
