How is Endearist different from Apple Contacts?
Apple Contacts is an address book. Endearist's proposed relationship journal is planned for v1; it is intended to add interaction notes and plans, not provide app access today.
Do I need an AI key?
The local core is planned for v1 and is intended to work without external AI. AI with your own key is planned for v1; selected text sent to an external provider is a deliberate disclosure.
What happens to my data when I sync?
End-to-end encrypted sync over storage you run yourself — a local or shared folder, or a WebDAV server — is planned for v1. Google Drive as a destination is not decided yet. Managed sync on Endearist Cloud is planned for after v1, as part of the Pro Cloud subscription only. Sync is not available yet. The planned model is optional: the key would remain with you, and without sync your data would stay on your device. Plain Markdown export is also planned.
Do I get updates forever?
The update and purchase terms are proposals, not rights created by a launch-list signup. Proposed plan, not purchasable yet: local app and AI with your own key (planned for v1). Sync over your own storage is planned for v1. Managed cloud services are not a lifetime feature.
Can I switch back to the Free plan later?
Plan changes and licence activation are planned for v1. The proposed free limit is not an accepted entitlement; reading, export, backup and restore must not be blocked by a future subscription.
