How should I work through this path?

Fifteen modules is the longest path here, and that length is the message: trust repair runs on a timescale nobody wants. Do not read it looking for the technique that shortens it. Work through it slowly, and expect the middle to be worse than the beginning — the point where the initial crisis energy has gone and the ordinary work has not yet produced visible results is where most repairs are abandoned. If you are the person who broke it, the modules on consistency matter more than the ones on explaining.
