Endearist Paths
Self-Worth and Status
9 modules · 1 hour · Intermediate
A learning path for relationship patterns where approval, dating standards, rejection, or status games start running the room.
OutcomeNotice when self-worth is outsourcing itself to other people's reactions, then replace status signals with clearer standards, boundaries, and expectations.
Who is this path for?
People who suspect their relationships are shaped by what they think they are worth, and want that examined without self-help vocabulary.
How should I work through this path?
The shortest path here, and the most internal. Nine modules, and none of them ask you to do anything to another person — the work is noticing what you assume you are allowed to ask for. Read one and then leave a few days before the next; this material does more when it has time to be noticed in ordinary situations than when it is read continuously. Where it connects to the rest of the site is worth following: several of these modules end at a boundary or a standard, and the Foundations path picks that up. If you find yourself defending your own low expectations while reading, that is the module to reread. A note on how this reads. Nothing here asks you to think better of yourself as an instruction, because that instruction does not work and everyone who has received it knows it. The modules go at the specific assumptions instead — what you expect to have to earn, what you treat as a favour, what you would never ask for twice. Those are checkable against last week, which affirmations are not. If a module makes you want to explain why your case is different, that reflex is the material. It is worth writing down what you were about to argue and looking at it the next day.
