Endearist vs Nimble

A fair, specific comparison — written so you'd be comfortable if a Nimble engineer read it.

Fairness pledge

Nimble pioneered the 'social CRM' — its signature move is pulling a person's social and web presence (LinkedIn, company site, public profiles) into a single record automatically, and fifteen years on it still does that better than almost anyone. The Prospector browser extension, the deep Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace integration, and the work-where-you-are philosophy make it a genuinely good CRM for solo professionals and small businesses who live in their inbox. But Nimble is a business tool priced like one: $24.90/seat/month (annual), no free tier, enrichment metered in credits, and the entire data model assumes contacts are prospects. It will tell you what someone posted on LinkedIn — not when you last had a real conversation with your oldest friend.

Where does my data live with Nimble versus Endearist?

Nimble: cloud-hosted SaaS — your contacts, enriched social data, and email history live on Nimble's servers; the web app, mobile apps, and Outlook/Gmail add-ins are all views onto that cloud. Endearist: your device first — sync optional via your own cloud (Google Drive, iCloud, WebDAV) or Endearist Cloud (EU-hosted).

How does each tool access AI?

Nimble's intelligence is enrichment-shaped: automatic social-profile matching and company insights, with 25 enrichment credits per user per month included and extra credits at $10 per 100. It tells you about people from public data. Endearist's AI is opt-in and works on your own notes: bring your own key (on-device), or Pro Cloud Light (~250 EU-routed actions/mo, €4.99) or Pro Cloud (~600 actions/mo + voice, €9.99).

What do Nimble and Endearist cost over three years?

Nimble: $24.90/seat/month billed annually → ~$900 / ~€830 over 3 years ($29.90 monthly → ~€990); add-ons like email marketing ($15/month) and extra enrichment credits push real-world cost higher. No free tier — 14-day trial only. Endearist Pro Lifetime: €69 once. Endearist Pro Cloud: €9.99/month → ~€360 over 3 years.

What doesn't Endearist do?

We don't do social-profile enrichment, prospecting, email sequences, group email tracking, deal pipelines, or the Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace deep integration that is Nimble's home turf. If your CRM needs to live inside Outlook and tell you who a new lead is before the first call, Nimble does that and Endearist doesn't try to.

When to pick Nimble

When is Nimble the better choice?

If you're a solo consultant, realtor, recruiter, or small-business owner whose working day happens inside Outlook or Gmail, Nimble is one of the most pragmatic CRMs ever built — it meets you where you already are, and the social enrichment means new contacts arrive pre-researched. Pick Nimble when your relationships are professional, your inbox is your office, and $24.90/month is a straightforward business expense. We're built for the relationships that don't appear on LinkedIn — and for keeping them on your own device.

Switching

How do I switch from Nimble to Endearist?

In Nimble's web app, open the Contacts tab, filter or select the contacts you want (use 'Select All' for everything), then click Export — Nimble emails you a CSV file. Import it into Endearist via Settings → Import → CSV: names, emails, phones, addresses, tags, and note fields map across; tags become Endearist tags you can use to drive cadence rules. Enriched social-profile data and deal records don't migrate — they're Nimble's view of public data, not yours. Note that exports only include fields editable on the contact record, so check a few records before deleting your Nimble account.
