Endearist vs Savvo
A fair, specific comparison — written so you'd be comfortable if a Savvo engineer read it.
Fairness pledge
Savvo is the newest, most AI-forward personal CRM in the category — its natural-language-input ("Met John at AI Summit, VP of Engineering at Nextera") parses one sentence into structured contact, role, company, and follow-up tasks. For founders, VCs, and salespeople who network professionally, the onboarding is among the best in this market and we say so. Savvo's trade-off is structural: web-only (no native iOS / Android / desktop), cloud-only (US servers via Supabase), OpenAI-only (no provider fallback, no local AI). Every contact note and AI prompt leaves your control on every action. Endearist makes the opposite architectural bets across the board: native everywhere, local-first, BYOK-or-EU-routed AI, no LinkedIn auto-sync. For B2B-only networkers Savvo may be the better fit; for the rest, we are.
Where your data lives
Savvo: web-only product backed by Supabase (Postgres on US infrastructure). Your contact graph, notes, and AI prompts live in Savvo's multi-tenant cloud. Endearist: your device first — sync optional via your own cloud (Google Drive, iCloud, WebDAV) or Endearist Cloud (EU-hosted).
How AI is accessed
Savvo's natural-language parsing, contact extraction, and suggestions all go through OpenAI on Savvo's servers — there's no provider fallback, no BYOK option, and no on-device path. Every interaction ships prompt + data to OpenAI. Endearist's AI features are opt-in: bring your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini — runs on device), or use Pro Cloud Light (~250 EU-routed actions/mo, €4.99) or Pro Cloud (~600 actions/mo + voice transcription, €9.99).
3-year total cost
Savvo Free: 50-contact cap, B2B-focused. Savvo Pro: $12/month — ~€432 over 3 years. Endearist Pro Lifetime: €69 once. Endearist Pro Cloud: €9.99/month — ~€360 over 3 years. (Endearist's free tier caps at 25 contacts but is feature-complete; Savvo's free is contact-capped.)
What we don't do
We don't have Savvo's one-shot natural-language contact parser tuned for B2B vocabulary, and we don't auto-extract from LinkedIn or email threads. Savvo is sharper on the "capture a stranger you just met at a conference into structured pipeline data" use case. Endearist is a quieter journal for the people you already know, with relationship-depth fields (pets, how-we-met, life events) Savvo doesn't model.

When to pick Savvo
When Savvo is the better fit.
If you're a founder, VC, or B2B salesperson and the primary value of a personal CRM is parsing one-sentence post-meeting notes into structured pipeline-adjacent data, Savvo is built specifically for you. Its B2B vocabulary ("warm intros", "network value", "deal flow") is unapologetic. Pick Savvo when professional networking is the entire use case and US cloud + OpenAI-only are fine. We're built for the broader personal-relationship layer — including but not limited to professional networking — and we don't auto-extract through email or LinkedIn.
Switching
Coming from Savvo?
Savvo offers a CSV export under Settings → Data → Export. Endearist imports the CSV directly via Settings → Import → CSV: contact names, companies, roles, and notes flow across in one step. Savvo's AI-extracted fields (e.g. "warm intro source") import as custom fields on each contact — nothing is lost. Plan about 5 minutes for an import of 100-200 contacts to settle on the first device before turning on sync to the others.
