Endearist vs Less Annoying CRM
A fair, specific comparison — written so you'd be comfortable if a Less Annoying CRM engineer read it.
Fairness pledge
Less Annoying CRM is the most honest pricing story in the entire CRM industry: $15 per user per month, every feature included, unlimited contacts, free phone support from actual humans, no tiers, no contracts, no upsells — and they've held that promise for years while the rest of the industry invented add-ons. For a small service business — realtors, insurance agents, consultants — that wants one simple pipeline and a vendor that will never surprise them on an invoice, LACRM is close to perfect and we say so with real admiration. It is still, however, a sales CRM for businesses: pipelines, leads, and a workflow that assumes the people in it are customers. And it's web-only, hosted on their US servers. Endearist comes at the same simplicity instinct from the opposite side: relationship-first instead of pipeline-first, native apps on every platform, and your data on your device instead of anyone's cloud.
Where your data lives
Less Annoying CRM: hosted on the company's US cloud infrastructure (the company is based in St. Louis); no EU data-residency option. Endearist: your device first — sync optional via your own cloud (Google Drive, iCloud, WebDAV) or Endearist Cloud (EU-hosted).
How AI is accessed
LACRM has no AI suite — a deliberate choice that matches its anti-hype philosophy, and one we respect. Endearist's AI is equally deliberate but opt-in rather than absent: bring your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini — it stays on your device), or use Pro Cloud Light (~250 EU-routed actions/month, €4.99) or Pro Cloud (~600 actions/month plus voice-note transcription, €9.99). Without AI, the app works fully offline.
3-year total cost
Less Annoying CRM: $15/user/month flat, no free tier (30-day trial) — ~€540 over 3 years for one user. Endearist Pro Lifetime: €69 once. Endearist Pro Cloud Light: €4.99/month — ~€180 over 3 years.
What we don't do
We have no sales pipelines, no lead tracking, no team seats, no reporting, no integrations marketplace — and no humans answering a support phone line, which LACRM famously does. If you run a small service business and your contacts are customers, LACRM's $15 flat is money well spent — keep it. Endearist is for the people in your life who will never be customers.

When to pick Less Annoying CRM
When Less Annoying CRM is the better fit.
If you run a small service business — real estate, insurance, consulting, trades — and want a CRM you'll understand in an afternoon, with one flat $15 price, unlimited contacts, and a human on the phone when you're stuck, pick Less Annoying CRM. It is exactly what its name promises, and its refusal to chase enterprise features or AI hype is a genuine virtue. The fit breaks only when the database stops being about customers: LACRM's pipelines and lead reports assume revenue, it lives in a browser tab rather than on your devices, and your data lives on their US servers. For the personal half of your life, that's our side of the line.
Switching
Coming from Less Annoying CRM?
LACRM makes leaving as painless as staying: open Settings in the main navigation, choose Export Data, and pick 'Contacts and Companies' to download a CSV of names, emails, phones, notes, and custom fields. One quirk to know: contacts with multiple phone numbers or emails may land combined in a single cell — a quick 'Text to Columns' pass in any spreadsheet fixes it before import. Then import into Endearist via Settings → Import → CSV; custom fields come along, pipeline and lead data won't map. If LACRM is running your business, the right move is usually to keep it for customers and move only the personal contacts into Endearist.
